Process:

Complete
the
Statutory Declaration
Send
these documents and copies of your
academic transcripts, any applicable
English language qualifications and
a copy of the identification page
of your passport to us via email
or fax or post.
Once
we have confirmed that you are eligible
for admission to Fulham and Chelsea
College, we will issue you with an
Acceptance Letter.
Upon receipt of the full course fees (credit card, bank cheque or direct transfer)
we will issue via courier, the Enrolment Letter and other paperwork
to support your student visa application. (Please see www.ukvisas.gov.uk for
full details of how to apply).
Fulham and Chelsea College will also provide a ‘Pre
Arrival Information Booklet for International Students’ to
assist you in your preparation for your visa application and arriving
in London.
Once
you have secured your visa you are
to inform the College immediately,
advise us of your arrival details and confirm
a date and time for your induction
meeting.
If your visa is declined, you are
required to send the original of
the letter declining your visa from the British
High Commission and all original
enrolment documentation, and we will
then process your refund within 6
weeks less £300.00
administration fee in accordance with our refund
policy.

Terms
and Conditions of Enrolment:
|
Attendance:
Students
must attend the college for study purposes
for at least 15hrs per week. Therefore, it
is
recommended that the student arranges
accommodation in a suitable location within
travelling distance of College.
All students must complete the Attendance Record on a daily basis.
If these attendance requirements are not met, the College will:
i) Issue verbal and written warnings
and;
ii) Finally, report the student to the Home Office and
cancel the student's enrolment with no refund.
Holidays:
Students
may take holidays for up to 16 weeks per 12
months of study with no more than 8 weeks to
be taken at any one time. Students must apply
for leave through the College Manager and have had satisfactory
attendance for at least one month prior to
this.
Illness:
Any illness which has resulted in students
being unable to attend the College must be
reported to the College Manager and a Doctor's Certificate
must be presented for illness periods of 7
days or more. All periods of
absence will be deducted from the 16 weeks'
holiday allowance.
Part
Time Work:
Students
must not work more than 20 hrs per week in
any part time employment whilst studying, in
accordance with Home Office regulations.
Quarterly
Progress Interviews:
Students
must attend quarterly student interviews
with the College Manager or Director of
Studies
to assess their progress, attendance and
discuss any other relevant matters.
Examinations:
Students
must register and pay applicable fees for
exams directly to ABE. Exams are
only held in June & December each
year and registration must usually be confirmed
3 months prior to examination dates. For
the Diploma level courses, students must
register for 4 exams in the first instance
and the remaining 5 in the following session.
For the Advanced Diploma level, students
must register for 2 exams in the first instance
and the remaining 3 in the following session.
Re-enrolment:
If
students decide to extend their 1 or 2 year enrolment,
they must complete an enrolment application
and pay applicable fees (based on period
of re enrolment). The College can then issue
the student with a new letter of enrolment
to assist with their Visa extension application.
Note that students who wish the College to
support their re-enrolment MUST maintain
regular attendance and have attempted applicable
exams.
Refunds:
• Where students pay a deposit or
the full tuition fee in order for enrolment
documentation to be issued and their visa is
declined, the College, at it’s discretion, may
refund part of the fees paid by the student. A
minimum administration charge of £300 will be
made in any event.
• Refund claims
for directs sales will only be considered upon
presentation of the ‘Nationality, Immigration
and Asylum Act 2002 Refusal of an Entry
Clearance or Certificate of Entitlement to the
Right of Abode’ and return of original enrolment
documentation. Without documentary originals, no
refund, or part refund, will be considered.
Refund claims will only be considered if these
documents are presented within 6 months of the
refusal notice date.
• Refunds will be
paid within 6 weeks of receipt of the
abovementioned documentation.
• Refunds will
NOT be considered if the documentation used in
the visa application has been deemed to be
false.
• Once the
student has had their student visa approved,
refunds will NOT be given under any
circumstances, regardless whether a student is
unable to take up the course or continue for any
reason.
